Faster Lead Finder searches
Lead FinderWe removed an internal processing delay from the search pipeline. Results now come back several seconds faster on every search.
Changelog · 2026
New features, improvements and meaningful fixes, as they land in production. Updated continuously.
Every US phone enrichment is now verified against a real-time carrier check before we return it: the number must be a mobile line, rated top confidence, and matched to your contact's name. Fewer wrong numbers in your exports - and you're only charged for numbers that actually belong to your lead.
We removed an internal processing delay from the search pipeline. Results now come back several seconds faster on every search.
Target exactly the companies you care about with a whole new set of search filters, now available in the app:
Full filter parity for developers: funding, job postings, company keywords & description, technologies, revenue ranges and company-type flags are all available on the Lead Finder API endpoints.
A new monitoring system continuously tests every data provider in our enrichment waterfall and automatically flags degraded ones - so enrichment quality stays consistent even when an upstream source has issues.
We reworked our profile-matching engine, improving how leads are matched to their current company and role. Expect more complete, more current profile data on enriched contacts.
Phone lookups are now routed dynamically by country: for each region, we query the providers with the best local track record first. Higher hit rates outside the US, at no extra cost.
Two new ways to narrow your searches programmatically: filter by company keywords or by company LinkedIn URL.
Enriched contacts pushed to HubSpot are now upserted: if the contact already exists in your CRM, we update it in place instead of creating a duplicate.
Lead Finder now runs on a new B2B data engine with broader coverage and fresher data - the foundation for the wave of new filters shipped this summer.
Product notifications now come from hello@, while sign-in and security emails stay on noreply@. Easier to filter, easier to trust.
BetterContact completed its migration to a new cloud infrastructure built for scale. Behind-the-scenes work - but it's what makes the platform faster and more resilient, and it unlocks quicker releases going forward.
Admins can now create, rotate and revoke API keys for their whole organization from one place.
BetterContact goes multi-player. Invite teammates into a shared organization with:
New required_email_domains parameter on the async enrichment API: only get charged for emails on the domains you actually want.
Throughout March we rebuilt large parts of the enrichment pipeline: higher throughput under load, real-time internal monitoring of every processing step, and the elimination of the "stuck request" cases some of you had hit during peak hours. Large batches now finish noticeably faster.
When a request is put on hold for insufficient credits, you can now see it, resume it after topping up, or discard it - right from the app, without contacting support.
Iterate through large search results cleanly with paginated responses.
Never let a campaign stall on an empty balance again: enable auto top-up and we'll automatically refill your credits when they drop below your chosen threshold.
Pass a list of LinkedIn URLs to exclude - perfect for filtering out leads you've already contacted.
A full breakdown of where your credits go: by enrichment type, by source, over time. Later in the month we added per-credit-type detail (email, phone, profile).
Lead Finder, programmatically. Search our B2B database - job title, seniority, location, company size, industry and more - straight from your own product or workflows, with the same waterfall enrichment on top.
Two new ways to get full profile data (current role, company, location, work history) from a LinkedIn URL or a name + company: a synchronous profile search endpoint for instant lookups, and a profile option on the async API for batches.
Your webhook is called even when a contact couldn't be enriched, with an explicit not_found status - no more guessing whether a silent contact is pending or done.
To keep processing fast and predictable for everyone, CSV/Excel uploads are now capped at 10,000 lines per file. Larger lists? Split them, or use the async API - it has no such limit.
A third enrichment type joins email and phone: turn a LinkedIn URL into a full, structured profile - current position, company, location and more - in the app and in your workflows.
A cleaner setup flow and much finer control over what gets pushed to your CRM: conditional mappings now support HubSpot select fields with their real option lists, field values are properly capitalized, and connections are easier to edit and remove.
Filter leads by seniority level (C-level, VP, Director, Manager…) - in the app and in the API.
Two big quality-of-life upgrades for repeat prospecting:
New company-domain resolution step: when you provide only a company name, we now find the website ourselves before enriching - better hit rates on incomplete lists.
